Our TLSP VIP Event is only three months away!
I sure hope you have September 17 on your calendar and plan to attend our third annual event. This year’s event will be held in the Kruse Plaza and will feature Mollie Hemingway, whose political and reporting expertise takes a backseat to her Lutheran heritage.
As was shared earlier, Mollie Ziegler Hemingway provides unique and thoughtful reporting and analysis of American politics and culture. She helped launch and is the editor in chief of the online magazine The Federalist, which has become one of the most influential voices in politics and has millions of readers. She is Senior Journalism Fellow at Hillsdale College where she teaches journalism. A Fox News contributor, she is a regular member of the Fox News All-Stars panel on “Special Report with Bret Baier." She has been profiled in the New York Times and her work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, Claremont Review of Books, and Christianity Today. Mollie was a 2004 recipient of a Phillips Foundation Journalism Fellowship and a 2014 Lincoln Fellow of the Claremont Institute. In 2021, her distinguished reporting and commentary earned her the prestigious Bradley Prize, awarded for extraordinary contributions to American scholarship and debate, and in 2019, recognizing her "journalistic integrity and willingness to stand alone beside the truth," the Heritage Foundation conferred on her its Salvatori Prize for American Citizenship.
Yes, Mollie is an award winning, book writing, blog writing truth fighter. She’s also Christian...Lutheran Christian...Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod Christian. Certainly, Mollie is thankful for her honorary doctorate from Concordia Theological Seminary. She’s also eternally grateful for the faith and life her parents shared with her. She is the daughter of an LCMS Lutheran pastor and Lutheran school teacher. Both of her parents have been sharing Christ in Lutheran ministries for years! Mollie and her family attend a Lutheran church and her children attend a Lutheran school. She is eager to share her love for Lutheran education and continue the TLSP message of STANDING strong for Lutheran education.
